Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a unique method of assisted stretching where the Therapist gently guides the client’s joints through various passive ranges of motion all while under traction. The goal of FST is to target deep layers of connective tissue in order to suppress the neural tone on the fascia that is often mistaken as “tightness”. Relaxing and downregulating the nervous system reduces joint restrictions and passive movement throughout a full range of motion opens up the articulating joint space.
Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) is a comprehensive joint training system that is backed by scientific principles and research. The purpose of FRC mobility training is to acquire and maintain joint range of motion while also fortifying the tissue load bearing capacity and ability of the joint. When a joint is challenged via neurological signalling from the brain to articulate throughout its work space or at end range of motion, the nervous system receives efferent biofeedback to not only retain the ability to create the stimulus but also promote adaptation to structurally reinforce the associated tissue.
